20 must-have apps for Toronto real estate agents

I developed this list after asking my network of tech savvy agents in Toronto, “What 3 apps could you not live without in your day-to-day business?”

  1. DropBox
    1. Lets you sync your files across multiple devices and backs them up
    2. You have the ability to share folders with clients
  2. PDF Expert
    1. The only PDF app you will need
    2. Open PDFs
    3. Edit PDFs
    4. Highlight sections on the PDF
    5. Make notes
    6. Save changes
  3. Docs to Go
    1. This integrates with your DropBox so you can open and edit Microsoft Office files from your DropBox
  4. Evernote
    1. The ultimate note-taking app. It lets you remember everything and access it across all of your devices
      1. Take notes
      2. Capture photos
      3. Create to-do lists
      4. Record voice notes
      5. All searchable
    2. Great tool to keep notes regarding listings you show to clients
      1. Set up the Notebook with them – for example, “John and Jane Doe’s Home Hunt, Evan Sage”
      2. Encourage them to make their notes right on the app
      3. Share market info or articles with them
      4. See it online, highlight, right click and save to Evernote…
